Product Description:
A simple, solid plate machined from alloy steel forging (ASTM A182) with bolt holes matching the corresponding flange standard. The facing (RF, RTJ) is machined to perfectly mate with the connecting flange. They are available in all standard sizes and pressure classes.
Key Parameters:
Manufactured to ASME B16.5 specifications for all pressure classes (Class 150 to Class 2500) and sizes (1/2" to 24" and above). Thickness is calculated to withstand the pressure rating without deformation. Available with Raised Face (RF), Ring Type Joint (RTJ), or Flat Face (FF) finishes.
Applications:
Used for pressure testing (hydrotest) of piping systems and vessels. Employed to permanently or temporarily isolate equipment for safety during maintenance. Installed at the end of piping headers or manifolds that may be extended in the future. Critical in refinery turnarounds and plant commissioning.
