Forged & Hot Rolled Alloy Steel Round Bar 42CrMo/4140/SAE 1045 High Strength
This high-performance round bar adopts hot rolled + forged combined process, integrated with the advantages of both processes—hot rolling ensures uniform internal structure and good ductility, while forging enhances density, tensile strength and wear resistance, making it suitable for high-demand industrial applications. It is available in three high-quality material grades: 42CrMo, SAE 1045 and 4140, each with unique properties to meet diverse project requirements.
42CrMo alloy steel boasts excellent hardenability, toughness and fatigue resistance, ideal for manufacturing high-load components such as shafts, gears and connecting rods. SAE 1045 is a medium-carbon steel with good machinability and mechanical strength, suitable for general structural parts and machinery accessories. 4140 alloy steel offers superior tensile strength and wear resistance, widely used in precision machinery, automotive parts and heavy-duty equipment.
The round bar features precise dimensional tolerance, uniform material properties and a smooth surface (black skin, peeled or polished optional).
